iCarly season 2 is here! The hit revival series captured audiences last year when it proved that you can spin a popular tween series into a revamped, more adult show for fans of the original.
If Disney had let the Lizzie McGuire revival hit its streamer, we could be living it up with two It girls from the ’00s but alas that’s not the case. At least we’ve been returned to the world of Miranda Cosgrove’s Carly Shay.
The influencer is busy rebuilding her former web empire in season 2 after romantic complications nearly got the best of her. Of course, that means leaning even harder into the nostalgic factor of her brand. Fans of the OG remember when viewers were divided over whether Freddie should be with Carly or Sam. This season, Creddie steps into the spotlight, but it’s definitely for the views.
The two friends know what their fans want and a little fan service can go along way. How long Freddie and Carly can keep this up is anyone’s guess especially when Freddie has a new girlfriend. Also on deck is Spencer and Harper trying to navigate new developments in both their personal lives and careers.
iCarly season 2 looks to be one that’ll endear fans even more to these characters as they support one another, figure out next steps, and have fun.

iCarly season 2 premieres Friday, April 8 on Paramount+ with two episodes for fans to enjoy. Then the second season will move to weekly releases every Friday until its finale on June 3. There’s a total of ten episodes in the season.
