The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On is the latest Netflix reality series with Nick and Vanessa Lachey as hosts. Subscribers have been hooked on the Love is Blind franchise that features the married couple as pseudo guides through a social experiment that requires participants to truly test if love actually is blind.
Their new show, however, kicks things up a notch by putting six couples on the path to marriage or the end of their relationship. Each pair consists of one person looking to get married while the other is uncertain about making that huge life decision.
Over the course of eight weeks, the couples will be working through their issues, getting to the root of what they really want from their future together or if they want a life together at all. But the thread of this reality show doesn’t stop there.
The participants have the opportunity to choose another partner from the group. The purpose? To get a taste of another life they could live with someone who may be more compatible with them than their current partner. Obviously, this is a messy premise and viewers should expect not only feelings to be hurt but also for hearts to be broken.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On debuted Wednesday, April 6 on Netflix. The first eight episodes of the ten episode series were released. Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports the season finale and reunion special will premiere April 13 at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET.
