Superman and Lois season 2 is on hiatus and it’s going to be a long one. Though don’t worry, we won’t be going months without one of our favorite superhero shows on The CW. As the network’s audience knows, the schedule has been out of whack since the height of the pandemic.
The three week break the season is on is due to filming delays. That’s to be expected considering the protocols sets have had to follow to keep everyone involved in the shows safe while producing great content. So, while we’re bummed we’ll be waiting awhile to be returned to Smallville, we’re glad they’re taking the necessary measures to take care of everyone.
In the meantime, we’ll have plenty to speculate over given the ending of episode 9, “30 Days and 30 Nights,” which had us flipping between joy over Lana Lang’s win in the mayoral race to concern for Clark and the entire Kent family.

When is the next episode of Superman and Lois season 2?
Superman and Lois season 2 will return with “Bizarros in a Bizarro World” Tuesday, April 26 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
The episode will reintroduce viewers to Bizarro Superman’s Earth. We’ve gotten several glimpses of his strange planet including the beautiful opening sequence from “Tried and True” directed by Amy Jo Johnson. Come April 26, we’ll be getting more than a glimpse as the story reveals how this alternate Clark came to be the man we met earlier in the season.
Get ready for a trip down emo lane as these darker versions of the characters we know and love take over the show. Their time to shine certainly won’t be something you’ll want to miss considering Bizarro World’s Lana Lang seems to have powers of her own.
