Sunday nights are currently all about the Canadian medical drama Transplant. Will a new episode air tonight, Sunday, May 8?
There is absolutely no doubt that we’re ready to check in with the doctors of York Memorial Hospital again. There is a bit of bad news, though. NBC won’t air a new episode of Transplant tonight, Sunday, May 8.
There isn’t going to be a rerun either. The lack of rerun is the reason for the lack of new episode tonight. It has nothing to do with filming issues!
Why isn’t Transplant on tonight?
As mentioned, this is nothing to do with filming delays, unlike we’ve had to face with a lot of shows this season. The full season of the Canadian drama has already filmed. In fact, the full season has already aired on CTV in Canada.
NBC is airing a Mother’s Day special of Saturday Night Live tonight. This isn’t all that surprising. Saturday Night Live is one of the network’s most popular shows, and we regularly see these one-off specials happen.
When will new episodes of Transplant return?
The new episode is expected to return next week, Sunday, May 15. We already have a few details of what to expect.
Bash will find himself torn between two patients. This isn’t all that unusual with doctors, but Bash’s patients aren’t in the same hospital. They’re not even in the same country. It sounds like we’ll see him deal with a patient in Syria again when his friend over there calls for help.
Meanwhile, Bishop has new goals for the emergency department. Of course, not everyone is going to be happy with these goals. Who is going to be the one to speak out against them?
