What all is joining the Disney+ streaming platform this month? Are our entertainment needs going to be met or should we start searching for new shows and movies on another service? Don’t worry, we provide a quick list of Disney+ shows and movies to watch (and skip) in June 2022 so you don’t miss a thing.
I’ll be the first to admit that, as much as I love Disney content (especially the movies, Marvel, and Star Wars), the streaming platform doesn’t have as much content as competitors. Netflix, HBO Max, and Hulu, have plenty to keep us busy. Not to mention, these services also release new content more frequently than Disney+ does. Still, when Disney+ does give us a new series or movie, you know it’s going to be pretty amazing. Well, for the most part!
The thing I love about Disney+ the most, is the Marvel and Star Wars content, some of the best series in television! Currently, Obi-Wan Kenobi has our full attention. And, right before Obi-Wan Kenobi, all we cared about was Moon Knight. So, what’s next? What outside of the Marvel and Star War worlds can we expect this month?
Disney+ shows and movies to watch (and skip) in June 2022
Here’s what to watch this month:
- Obi-Wan Kenobi, new episodes will continue through June, they are available to stream Wednesdays.
- Ms. Marvel, the new Marvel series streams its first episode on June 8, don’t miss it!
- Also on June 8, be sure to watch Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion, Disney’s new superhero.
- On June 10, stream Beyond Infinity: Buzz and the Journey to Lightyear ahead of the movie’s release on June 17.
- Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness makes its Disney+ debut on June 22. I hope you didn’t miss it in theaters, the big screen offers the best experience. But, if you did, you’ll be able to stream it soon.
Here’s what to skip this month:
- Trevor The Musical, June 24. Listen, I don’t know about you, but I’ve had it with musicals these days. They just don’t do it for me, but hey, feel free to watch if you’re a fan!
- Kings Ransom, which streams on June 17, is simply not what Disney+ subscribers search for. The target audience is for adults, so kids and families can definitely skip this one.
- Big Shot also drops on June 17 and, for the same reasons as Kings Ransom, I don’t recommend it.
