Evil has been in the pop culture mainstream since its debut in 2019 on CBS. The supernatural horror drama is a procedural like much of broadcast television, however, the fact that the trio works to uncover the divine and the mundane for the Catholic church is a unique premise.
For two seasons, the series has balanced religion with science, setting the scene for David, Kristen, and Ben to lead its strange story in surprising directions. What happens when you pair a devout Catholic, an agnostic psychologist, and an atheist scientist who was raised Muslim? You get a trio of investigators who go toe-to-toe with the unexplainable to find reason where there seemingly isn’t any.
Last season, Evil made the jump from broadcast to streaming, becoming a Paramount+ original and changing the kind of storytelling that the show could tell. Of course, this meant an ability to push boundaries even more. However, the move to streaming also gives the series the opportunity to release all at once instead of being released weekly.
Season 2, like the first season run, premiered a new episode from week-to-week. Can fans expect the same for Evil season 3? Here’s what we know!
Do new episodes of Evil season 3 release weekly?
Yes, season 3 will be a week-to-week release on Paramount+. Viewers can expect new episodes to release Sundays on the streamer starting June 12. The show’s third season picks up right where the season 2 finale left fans, with David and Kristen crossing the line. They kissed and now they must deal with what that means for them going forward especially in light of David being an ordained priest.
