Horror fans have become used to Tuesday nights being horror nights thank to our favorite possessed doll, Chucky. But is there a new episode of Chucky on tonight, Dec. 7?

If you tuned in last week, you know that the series left us with a huge cliffhanger and a reveal that has fans super excited for what’s to come. Unfortunately, the wait will have to continue until we can get some answers.
Is Chucky new tonight, December 7?
No. We regret to inform you that there is no new episode of Chucky tonight, or next week! You may have missed it, but episode 8 “An Affair to Dismember,” was the final episode of season 1.
That’s right, season 1 only consists of eight short episodes. On the bright side, the horror drama has been renewed for a second season, so there are more fun thrills ahead!
When is Chucky season 2 coming out?
As Deadline reported, the horror drama has been renewed for season 2 by USA Network and SYFY. According to the source, NBCUniversal shares that Chucky reached 9.5 million viewers in its first season, that’s plenty of horror fans to keep the show going!
What the source does not share is the exact date for when season 2 will be coming out. However, we’re willing to bet it’ll be either late September 2022 or early October 2022, so that it can be timed to Halloween.
This is also typically the release schedule most shows (and even most movies) follow, which is a year between seasons. Of course, as soon as we learn more, we’ll let you know!
