We’re waiting to see if Spencer will be expelled when All American returns. Will that happen tonight? Is a new episode of All American on tonight?
When All American went on its winter break, we were left with one major question. Would Spencer be expelled for something that he didn’t do? He’s taken the blame for his teammates with the idea that Principal Carter won’t fire him, but is it possible Carter will have no choice?
We won’t get to find out about the decision tonight. There isn’t going to be a new episode of All American on tonight. We’re also not going to get a rerun of the series tonight. Instead, The CW is opting for a rerun of Naomi, the new series that premiered last week.
Why isn’t All American on tonight?
The lack of new episode is potentially linked to the pandemic. It could also be linked to The CW opting not to bring the show back until its spin-off Homecoming premieres. We knew going into the winter break that we wouldn’t get a new episode until Feb. 21. That is still the plan.
Why isn’t there a rerun, though? The CW does tend to put on reruns of its top dramas, but this lack of rerun is likely linked to the support the network wants to give its new series, Naomi.
When does All American return?
We know that the series will return on Monday, Feb. 21. It will continue in the 8/7c timeslot, offering us the best start to the week.
When the show returns, we’ll also get the spin-off, All American: Homecoming in the hour afterward.
The return of the series will give us answers about Spencer. Will he be expelled, or will his teammates step up with the truth?
