The Cleaning Lady sees Thony De La Rosa, an intelligent and independent woman who was a doctor back in the Philippines. Thony and her young son, Luca, moved to the United States due to a disease Luca suffers from, hoping to find medical care. Sadly, being a cleaning lady isn’t getting Thony or her son anywhere. Thony’s luck turns around when she witnesses a murder and reluctantly becomes the “cleaning lady” for a gang. In return, the gang’s leader Arman Morales does get a doctor to help Thony’s son, but when the FBI, particularly Agent Garrett Miller (Oliver Hudson), asks Thony for her help with a case, it complicates things.
What happens in The Cleaning Lady episode 5?
Tonight’s episode is titled, “The Icebox,” and the synopsis shares that Thony will be tasking with cleaning up a party bus, but that’s not the tough part of her job in this episode –can Thony pull off being a double agent? It’s not looking too good, and it doesn’t help that Fiona (Martha Millan) isn’t making things any easier for the family.
