Bel-Air episode 6, “The Strength to Smile,” finally brings the lupus fundraiser being thrown in honor of Lisa’s mother into the forefront of the story. For episodes Viv has been planning the special event that’s a celebration of her friend’s life and helps to fight the disease she died from.
We expect peak drama is in store for the audience as no event goes without a scene being caused. Will it be between Carlton and Will? The cousins have called a truce but it’s a fragile one built on Carlton’s promise to keep quiet about Will’s legal issues in exchange for his cousin staying away from Lisa.
The Banks’ mansion is rather large, but Will won’t be able to stay away from Lisa for long especially during a fundraiser that will most certainly be hard for her. There’s also the fact that Phil has been hiding the lengths he went to ensure Will’s future remained bright. Lisa’s father is the chief of police and last episode, “PA to LA,” he leaned on Phil to be softer on law enforcement in his rhetoric to no avail.
If the secret the Banks’ have been hanging onto gets out, it could spell the end for Phil’s political aspirations. A potential recording of Tray’s words on the matter looms over the story. Will the truth be dragged into the light? Or will the Banks’ continue to be unaware of footage that may be out of their hands? We’ll have to wait and see. Here’s when the new episode premierea!
Bel-Air episode 6 release time on Peacock
“The Strength to Smile” premieres Thursday, March 3 at 2:01 a.m. PT/5:01 a.m. ET on Peacock. The sixth episode of Bel-Air‘s first season sets the stage for the back half of the season.
With Will remaining in California despite the death of Rashad Denton, his future could go in so many directions, however, one thing is certain. What happened in Philly may be behind him now but given Jeffrey’s involvement in Rashad’s death, the situation back home could still continue to haunt him in Bel-Air well beyond his original circumstances.
