Everybody is working for the weekend and that starts today. Happy Monday, readers. I hope the week is super fast for all of us. Like we do each and every week, below we share all the new Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of May 9, 2022.
Exciting news for all of you, if you haven’t caught up on any of the shows that have hit Netflix recently (Ozark or Grace and Frankie) or watched any of their new movies (Along for the Ride), Netflix is NOT giving you a breather. The streaming giant has a few new films and series for us to watch and/or add to our long to-watch list.
New Netflix movies and shows to watch this week

- Bling Empire: Season 2, May 13
- The Lincoln Lawyer, May 13
- Senior Year, May 13
I believe the entire universe is a fan of Rebel Wilson and I think we can all agree she is hilarious. We see her return to movies (first since Cats in 2019) with Senior Year. A cheerleading stunt goes wrong and puts her in a 20-year coma. Finally, she wakes up at 37 and is ready to live out her dream as prom queen. The trailer for this one looks fun and I can’t wait.
Do you remember the 2011 film The Lincoln Lawyer, starring Matthew McConaughey? Netflix is dropping a series about that same guy Mickey Haller, a lawyer who runs his practice out the back of his car. Manuel Garica-Ruffo plays Mickey and the series also stars Neve Campbell.
